Valmiki Ramayana

The Valmiki Ramayana is one of the two greatest epics that form the bedrock of the exalted Indian Culture and Heritage. Being the 'Adi-kavya' (first formal poetic work belonging to classical Sanskrit Literature) and authored by Sage Valmiki who was known as the 'Adi-kavi' (first poet of the land who composed poetry in a verse form), it is a work that continues to inspire and invigorate people from all hues of life with devotional fervor from the last several millenniums.

The Srimad Ramayana, original which is in Sanskrit language is translated to Kannada language by Pandit Sri Devashikamani Alasingaracharya.
