About Samskriti Foundation

About Us

Over a decade ago, a group of scholars led by Prof M A Lakshmithathachar of Melkote, Karnataka, responded to the call of Indian culture enthusiasts and philanthropists by establishing the Samskriti Foundation. The foundation was envisioned as an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting India’s Cultural and Scientific Heritage through modern media platforms like CD-ROMs and websites, as well as utilizing the latest IT tools.

After an initial period of limited activity, the foundation has experienced a resurgence in the past 6-7 years, successfully undertaking pioneering projects that have captivated the public’s interest. Despite its accomplishments, the organization has remained relatively unknown.

Those who share a passion for and commitment to preserving and propagating India’s rich culture and scientific heritage are invited to join Samskriti Foundation on its fulfilling and enlightening journey.

The foundation offers various courses for students from India and abroad, aiming to disseminate knowledge on spiritual practices, Indian philosophy, traditional agriculture, animal husbandry, Indian astronomy, astrology, and the country’s vibrant cultural heritage. Samskriti Foundation also engages in extensive research, mining information from Sanskrit and other Indian language texts on diverse topics such as aeronautics, Ayurveda, music, linguistics, and more.

Collaborating with premier research institutes, the foundation conducts research projects that explore the integration of ancient Indian wisdom in fields like metallurgy, chemistry, food processing, and aviation, thus contributing to a global understanding of India’s scientific and technological heritage.
